Marking an Investment as Funds Received & Completed

This article goes over how to update an investor's investment as Funds Received.

πŸ’‘ If Verivest is performing Investor Servicing for your fund, rather than Full Fund Administration, you will need to complete this process for Investor Servicing as part of the fund's self-service.

After receiving funds from an investor:

  1. Go to the Investments tab
    ​

  2. Select the appropriate investment from the list

  3. Scroll down to Funds received by manager and click confirm twice

After you have confirmed receipt of the funds, you'll notice that the Complete button to the right of Investment is completed becomes available. Clicking on Complete, will prompt you to add the remaining details of the new capital contribution and choose the appropriate purchase security.


Completing a Contribution

  1. Click on Investments from your dashboard

  2. Select the appropriate investment from the list

  3. Click Confirm to the right of Investment is completed

    Note: You can only confirm that the investment is completed after confirming the receipt of funds. If you are missing the ability to click Confirm please reach out to our Support team Support@Verivest.com

  4. Select the Purchase security (subscription interest, temp note, class a,b, or c, membership interest)

  5. Enter the contribution amount or click on Contribute the remainder of the commitment so that the system autofills the entire pledged amount

  6. Enter the effective date

  7. Add a holding Label (optional)

  8. Add the interest rate (optional)

  9. Decide whether you want to send the investor a notification or not

  10. Review the purchase data and confirm the purchase by clicking Purchase

  11. View confirmation
