After you have added a new contact, you can send them an invitation to create a user account and access the investor portal. The email invitation will prompt them to create an account, giving them the ability to view your manager profile and, if they decide to invest, manage their investment and investment accounts.
To send a portal invitation to a new contact, follow these steps:
Click on Contacts in your Manager dashboard menu
Select one or more contacts
Click on Send Invite
Click Confirm to send a portal invitation to the selected users
Note: Contacts that are already "Active" will not receive the invitation. Portal invitations will only be sent to new portal users.
Contacts added to an investment account will be sent an invitation to access a portal similar to the notice shown below.
Sending a portal invitation from the contacts list to a user will result in a welcome email similar to the one below.
Clicking Activate your investor portal account will prompt users to create a password between 8 and 20 characters, containing at least one number or special character.
