Making Changes to Trust Investment Accounts

This article explains how to make changes to trust accounts on behalf of investors.

Updated over a year ago

Managers can now make changes to the account information, trust information, and authorized signer details associated with trust accounts. This includes:

  • Account name

  • Legal name of the Trust

  • Trust type (revocable or irrevocable)

  • The SSN/ITIN for the Trust

  • Trust creation details (Date of Trust, State where organized)

  • Trust email

  • Trust mailing and primary addresses

  • Add or change the authorized signer for the Trust

Please note that most account details cannot be updated after a pledge has been created or subscription documents have been sent to the investor. If you need to modify an account that has already made a pledge or received subscription documents, please contact our Support team.


Updating Trust Account Information:

  1. Click Accounts from your manager dashboard

  2. Locate and click on the account that needs to be updated

  3. Click Edit on the Trust information card

  4. Update the necessary details

  5. Click Save


Updating the Name of Record for a Trust Account (Account Name):

  1. Click Accounts from your manager dashboard

  2. Locate and click on the account that needs to be updated

  3. Click Edit on the Account information card

  4. Enter the new Account name in the field

  5. Click Save


Updating the Authorized Signer:

  1. Click Accounts from your manager dashboard

  2. Locate and click on the account that needs to be updated

  3. Click Edit on the Authorized signer card

  4. Search for the authorized signer by name or account number (M#)

  5. Click Save
