Managers can control which investors have access to specific offerings.
Managers can choose to restrict visibility for an offering. For example, if a manager has a 506(b) offering they want on the portal, they can hide it from view and only share with specific contacts. This article walks through how to restrict access and visibility for an offering as well as how to give specific investors access.
To view/edit access to an Offering:
1. From your home page, click on Offerings and toggle to the Edit view.
2. Click on Settings under your chosen offering.
3. Choose Access from the settings screen and click Change on the Visibility mode.
4. Change the visibility setting to Restricted.
Now your offering is restricted from view and will only show up if you allow investors visibility.
To allow visibility to a restricted offering follow the steps below:
1. Go to People on the left menu, choose your contacts, and then choose Visibility.
2. Then choose what offerings those contacts can view and click Apply Changes.
This will allow the investors to see the offerings and request access.
To allow access without investors having to request it continue the final step below:
From People on the left menu, select which investors you want to have access, click access, choose which offerings to allow and click Apply Changes.
