# Editing the Investment Account, Distribution Preference or Funding Method on an Investment

Note: If Subscription documents have already been sent, you will need to "void" the documents in order to access the edit options, except for updating distribution preferences. Distribution preferences are always editable.

### Changing **Investment** **Accounts**:

1. Click on **Investments** from your portal
2. Locate the pledge you need to update
3. Click **EDIT** from the account card
4. Enter the new account and click save (or create a new account)

### Changing the investors **distribution preference**:

1. Click on **Investments** from your portal
2. Locate the pledge you need to update
3. Click on EDIT on the distribution preference card
4. Select the new preference & click update

### Changing the used **funding method**:

1. Click on **Investments** from your portal
2. Locate the pledge you need to update
3. Click EDIT on the funding method card
4. Select the new funding method & click save
